This blog is dedicated to the genre that explores the bad things that can happen to the Earth, and by association, mankind. From the physical (nuclear war, solar flare and global pandemics) to the political (new world order, economic meltdown and terrorism) to the really kooky (comet strikes, alien invasion and the laws of physics being changed), I will look at the good, the bad and the badly edited books those of us with a certain twist of mind love to read. I plan to cover fiction and non-fiction, and include reviews on books that try to tell us how to prepare for the coming dark ages. The two genres I will not cover are zombies and vampires. I don't consider either to be realistic threats to our way of life (although some may feel the situations listed above are equally unrealistic).
All opinions expressed in these reviews are strictly my own. I have not agreed to give anyone a slanted review in their favor, nor will I do so in the future. The reviews will express my honest opinion of the books I read. I will read (or at least try to read) all books reviewed. If I am not able to finish a particular book, I will let you know why.
